You should properly research what people search for when looking for a new handbag. Is it the term handbag, purse, carryall? Make a list of the most searched keywords for your item and pepper these in throughout your article. There can be several words for one item and establishing the most searched for keyword is what will bring more customers to your site

Make certain that your articles and your web content is well written. Anyone can put together a bunch of information calling it an article. Your goal should always be to provide value to your customers or readers. Doing this may mean writing the article yourself or hiring an expert. Position yourself as an expert especially if this is your business, write the article and then naturally place your chosen keywords in your article. You articles should always be information rather than sales pitches or advertisements. In fact, the best articles are educational and provide new information.

Distribution is one of the hardest components of website or article marketing. At first, you will need to manually submit articles to various online directories. Pick a few directories and submit there to being with. Also consider submitting your website to directories if you can do it without it seeming like a sales pitch.

Article marketing does many things including enhancing your visibility on the Internet and educating your target market of customers. This goes a long way towards building lasting relationships. Paid advertising may lose its relevance as time goes on but articles that are well written can be republished and re-used for years.

Article and website marketing is an important part of building a successful business on the Internet. Invest a little time and money and you may just find yourself gaining lifelong customers who are already educated about your product or service.
